Building a life worth living

It’s curious how therapy is so overrated nowadays. You must find yourself, love yourself and set healthy and lovely boundaries up, you should be spiritual, should be grateful, blablabla.

This book is about author’s life history and how it inspired her to develop DBT therapy. This therapy is focused on creating skills to control emotions.

Today, I recognize I’m not the same negative, chaotic person I used to be. I developed my own skills, I found a way to scream my emotions and to create with them. This is how I started to create content on social media. It’s been a long path.

I guess being by your own, creating your life rules, not following any specific path guided by those who name themselves ‘leaders’, is what freedom really feels like.

I have been struggling with my mental health for many years. Somehow, I found peace in spirituality, angels and meditation. I built a wall around me with these pillars. Four years later, I discovered those things I used as life-saving tools, were nothing but fantasy. A fictional world created by mental master of puppets. They were pulling mind strains with guided meditations so they can take away your money.

If I had read this book a few years ago, I would’ve understood many things about myself.

This book is therapy itself. If you have been suffering with mental health problems, can be helpful. Read it ASAP.

I made a promise to myself and I’m willing to keep it: I will take myself out of hell each time is needed to.
